Cowboy Basketball Releases 2009-10 Non-Conference Schedule
STILLWATER, Okla. (OSU Athletics <http://www.okstate.com>) — The 2009 Las Vegas Invitational highlights the 2009-10 Oklahoma State men’s basketball non-conference schedule, released today by head coach Travis Ford.

The Cowboys open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, November 14, as OSU hosts Seattle as part of the Las Vegas Invitational. Game time for that contest will be announced once the kickoff for the OSU vs. Texas Tech football game is determined.

Vail Advances to 5k Final at NCAA Championships
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oklahoma State men’s track and field team began its competition at the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships early Thursday morning, as senior standout Ryan Vail advanced to the 5,000 meters final after finishing 15th in the semifinal heats.

The event, originally scheduled for 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, was delayed until after 12:30 a.m. due to heavy rainfall and lighting in the area.

OSU Track Earns At-Large Bids To NCAA Championships
STILLWATER, Okla. – The at-large additions to the NCAA Track and Field Championships were announced today and three athletes from Oklahoma State earned bids. As expected, women’s 10,000-meter runner Tone Hjalmarsen was added to the field. She will be joined by Cowgirl triple jumper Baiba Blumbaha and Cowboy 5,000 meter runner Colby Lowe.

Cowboys’ Season Ends With Loss To Clemson
CLEMSON, S.C. (OSU Athletics <http://www.okstate.com>) — Top-seeded Clemson scored five runs, three of them unearned, in its final two at bats to defeat Oklahoma State, 6-5, and win the NCAA Clemson Regional championship Monday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.



The loss marks the second-straight season OSU has lost in the NCAA Regional championship round. The Cowboys, who were the third seed at the Clemson Regional, end the season with a 34-24 record.
